Development Plastimo watermaker stems from sophisticated development and complies with stringent specifications.Simplified maintenance thanks to standard components and minimal moving parts when in use. Operation •A low pressure pump,positioned at least 200 mm below the waterline, drives sea water through 5 and 20 μ filters to an amplifier, with a 6 to 8 bar pressure.The amplifier feeds inverted osmosis diaphragms with a 60 bar pressure. •It produces drinkable water within approx. 2 minutes,ready to fill the watertanks. Water quality can be checked, with the addition of optional saltmeter (ref.53428). Installation Simple and convenient installation. Virtually silent,it can be installed next to the cabins and run night and day. Comes as standard with : •Remote control panel. •On/Off switch. •LED activation indicator. •Pre-wiring for optional Flushing and saltmeter (the control panel is designed to accept the later addition of these options). Maintenance The Plastimo watermaker has been specially designed for simplified maintenance. For an extended lifetime, it must be maintained at regular intervals : •Replace the 5 and 20 μ filters when fouled up. •Rinse with fresh water before stopping the system for over 3 days. •Rinse with a storage fluid before stopping the system for a 10 days to 2-3 months period. •End of season winterising. |
