• Optimum quality All models feature highly reliable components, tested and approved to ensure a total peaceful mind when sailing. The high pressure pumps with 3 ceramic pistons are corrosion resistant. The filtering diaphragms can bear pressures several times higher than operation pressures. The chassis is engineered from 316 L stainless steel. Construction complies with ISO 9001 standards ; every model, whatever the size, is tested before shipment. • Simple and convenient installation The water maker is supplied either in kit or on a frame, to suit your installation requirements. Its components are designed to produce absolute minimum vibrations (further absorbed by rubber pads under the plate). The watermaker can be used at night or when the team is resting. • Drinking water on a daily use basis A 5 micron filter keeps impurities away from the circuit. A saltmeter checks constantly the quality of the water and controls the smooth general operation of the system. It activates a seacock, which rejects the water to the sea as soon as it detects an anomaly and informs you about it. • Minimum power consumption adapted to your navigation programme Without compromising on the reliability of the system and the quality of the water produced, the Plastimo Aqua-Base dessalinisator is designed for minimal power consumption : it requires only 30 Amp/hour to produce 60 litres. • Easy and safe maintenance The Plastimo Aqua-Base system is designed for a high water circulation in the diaphragm, hence a lower salt concentration and a longer diaphragm lifetime. Rinsing with fresh water is therefore not necessary, which means further saving on the water produced. A simple yearly maintenance operation, or if the system has not been used for over 2 weeks, is necessary and easily carried out with the optional maintenance kit. |
