Founded in 1966 in Monza (near Milan-Italy), the Lofrans’ company has grown into a worldwide undisputed quality brand specialised in anchor windlasses and chain-management systems. Lofrans’ products are renowned for quality engineering and unrivalled combination of safety, design and utility, equally suitable for sail and powerboats.

Run as a family business until it joined Navimo in 2008, Lofrans’
activity is perfectly complementary to other deck equipment
companies in the Group. Specific perspectives feature enhanced
distribution arrangements and a broader product range, including
in particular the clever and promising “Easy chain” system.

100 % of Lofrans’ products are proprietary, designed and assembled
in-house.

The acquisitions made by Navimo enabled Goļot to complement and re-inforce its product offer and become the “metal expert unit” in the Group. Taking advantage of the intra-Group synergies, Amiot and Moine were integrated into Goïot, which brought precious additional expertise in travellers, rigging and marine glazing.

Right from the early days, Lofrans’ started to pioneer Europe, thus building up the international reputation it enjoys today. Lofrans’ is represented through distributors in almost 50 countries.
Export business represents 55 % of the Lofrans’ activity.
