Plastimo tips & tricks
Whether you sail shorthanded or singlehanded, whether you are a beginner or a confirmed skipper, the Bumper will take away some "emotional" moments when approaching the pontoon, in particular when the wind blows hard and currents are unkind !
A bow Bumper really facilitates dock manoeuvres, and a second Bumper amidships protects efficiently against shocks.
PRESSURE:
We advise you to check the pressure of your Bumper once or twice a year. The right pressure is obtained by using a pressure gauge. To be really efficient, a Bumper must be neither under nor over inflated.
Recommended pressure : 0.07 to 0.10 bar.
